How To Install Avast Free Antivirus



In this we describe how to install Avast Free Antivirus in Windows 8.1 OS. Avast Free Antivirus is the #1 of most downloadable free antivirus software, so we checked it immediately.
Please visit official site to download Avast Free Antivirus. Press the button to start downloading as shown.





In this step official website informs us about Avast Pro version, please select “No thanks, I want free protection”
 




Main setup file is hosted by CNET Network, so please press “Download Now” button on their website.
 




Your browser will ask you about saving Avast Free Antivirus Setup File on your hard drive.




After the downloading will be finished, please “Run as administrator” Avast Free Antivirus Setup File as shown using right button click.
 


Windows 8.1 User Account Control recognizes “Avast Software” verified publisher using Digital Signature, so press “Yes” button.

1) We have unchecked  “Google Chrome” browser installation and Google Toolbar installation also

When the all settings will be done, please right click “Start” button and select “System”.
 


Now, please select “Action Center” by clicking the link.






In Windows 8.1 Action Center we could see new virus protection and new spyware and unwanted software protection powered by Avast Free Antivirus.
 





Now, we have started Avast Free Antivirus management utility and selected “Scan” mode.
